2 Thessalonians 3:16
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
Peace is a mysterious thing. Sometimes, we can seek out peace with all our might, and that's exactly when it doesn't appear. If our minds are in turmoil, our lives spinning round and round but going nowhere, how can God provide His perfect peace when our lives have no place for it?
Peace is something you have to achieve by doing nothing and letting God do all. Ask God for peace today. Seek His face, His will for your life, His direction. Pray and let God do some of the talking. Meditate on a favorite verse, listen to an old hymn, or just simply spend time outdoors contemplating His glorious creation. If you seek Him, you will find Him. He's right there waiting.
